Aerotek is Hiring – Immediate Joiners – Welder & Fabricator – Spokane Valley, WA – $25–$30/hr!

Job Description

• Weld and fabricate custom stainless steel tanks of various sizes and shapes
• Focus on high‑cosmetic stainless steel welding projects
• Perform MIG and TIG welding processes
• Read and interpret blueprints and layouts
• Carry out basic fabrication tasks (cutting pipe, drill press, band saw)
• Occasionally polish welds for aesthetic finish

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel tanks using MIG and TIG
• Cut, drill, and fabricate components using shop machinery
• Inspect welds for cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion; repair as needed
• Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet cosmetic standards
• Setup and adjust welding equipment (voltage, amperage, gas flow)
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment

Essential Skills

• Expertise in MIG and TIG welding
• 2 years of stainless steel welding/fabrication experience
• Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills
• Knowledge of stainless steel types and grades
• Experience with fabrication tools (drill press, shear, band saw)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (crawl, crouch, bend, stand)

Work Environment

• Workshop focused on stainless steel tanks for fuel, food/water processing, and alcohol fermentation
• Clean shop environment with some metal dust
• Team of 15–20 colleagues on the production floor

This is a Contract position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
