Warehouse Worker

As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for picking and packing parts in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. The role involves moving products ranging from the size of an Apple Watch to a flat-screen TV. You will be required to match numbers and labels, and pick products throughout the warehouse. Flexibility is key as you will spend most of your day standing on a packing line packaging products.

• Pick and pack parts in the warehouse.
• Match numbers and labels accurately.
• Stand on the packing line for extended periods.
• Handle and move products of varying sizes.
• Operate equipment such as RF scanners and forklifts.
• Adhere to safety and packaging protocols.

• Experience in picking and packing within a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Ability to stand for long durations and perform repetitive tasks.

• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• 1 years of experience with stand-up forklifts is advantageous.

The warehouse operates shifts from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays, and 2:00 pm to 12:30 am from Monday to Thursday. The facility houses over 7500 different products and is non-climate-controlled. During peak season, the team expands from around 30 to 50 employees. The dress code is relaxed, requiring close-toed shoes, pants, and a T-shirt, with any offensive tattoos covered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LENEXA, KS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
