Process Tech

Job Title: Process Technician $21-22/hour starting out based on experience.

Job Description

This role involves operating and maintaining machinery. mechanical acclimation and maintenance on equipment, using hand/power tools, etc. Setting up machines. Changing out different parts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Light maintenance of machinery that includes replacing sensors, bearings, oiling machinery, etc.
• Set up and making sure machines are operating correctly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• History of good work performance in similar settings.
• Mechanical acclimation, hand/power tools is a must. MUST be very mechanically inclined. Whether that be working on cars, on a farm, in maintenance, construction, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have atleast 6 months of mechanical experience. Working on cars, machines, heavy equipment, etc..

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, though machines generate additional heat. Safety gear including eye protection, ear protection, hairnet, smock, and bump cap are required. The dress code includes jeans or shorts, t-shirt, closed-toe shoes, and no jewelry. The 2nd shift runs 3PM-11PM and 3rd shift runs from 11pm to 7:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
