7pm-7am 4 nights on 4 nights off (33.50/hr)

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician (Technical Specialist) is responsible for setups and maintenance of the production line for manufacturing home and garden products.

Responsibilities

• Perform setups and changeovers of production line and production machinery and equipment.
• Maintain conveyors, gear boxes, motors, cappers, fillers, labeling, and packaging machines.
• Perform adjustments, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment to maximize run time on the line.
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs on all breakdowns.
• Check quality of product throughout the process.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment performing general maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in setting up and running machinery and/or packaging lines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing packaging equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing setups and adjustments on machinery or equipment.
• Experience replacing motors and gearboxes.
• Ability to perform quality checks on machinery and product.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in high volume production lines is highly advantageous.
• Food industry experience is preferred, although not required.
• Basic electrical knowledge and experience is preferred, such as the ability to unwire/rewire a motor for repair or replacement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland, MO.

The pay range for this position is $31.50 - $33.50/hr.
