7am-3:30pm (Weekends & overtime as needed)

About the Role
We’re seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our production team as General Utility Workers. This entry-level role offers hands‑on experience in a food manufacturing environment, with opportunities for growth as our company continues to expand.
You’ll support daily production operations, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and assist with general labor tasks that keep our facility running smoothly. If you’re detail‑oriented, hardworking, and ready to build a long‑term career, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary production areas
- Report any conditions that may compromise sanitation
- Remove product, packaging, trash, and recycling from work zones
- Prepare the production floor with clean containers for upcoming shifts
- Assist with equipment setup, disassembly, and sanitation
- Handle rework materials safely to prevent cross‑contamination
- Provide break coverage for team members
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Inspect cases for correct labels and legible code dates
- Make basic machine adjustments (tape, ink, film, cardboard)
- Operate a manual pallet jack
- Stage ingredients in 50 lb. containers
- Move, stack, and arrange products according to specifications
- Inspect product quality on the conveyor line
- Communicate equipment issues promptly
- Prepare supplies and workstations for shift changes
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable, detail‑oriented team players
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working weekends or overtime when needed
- Able to work safely in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Experience in production, general labor, or food manufacturing is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting throughout the shift
- Temperature exposure from cold (around 30°F) to warmer zones

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
