Cleanroom Technician

As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for operating molding machines and assembling plastic medical device components and subassemblies. You will need to have an understanding of molding cosmetic defects and perform in-process visual inspection of components and sub-assemblies throughout the process.

• Operate molding machines to assemble plastic medical device components and subassemblies.
• Conduct in-process visual inspection of components and sub-assemblies using microscopes and hand tools.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom requirements, including proper use of PPE and adherence to guidelines regarding jewelry, make-up, and phones.
• Maintain a steady work ethic and contribute to production at a consistent pace.

• Prior experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with small parts.

• Inspection experience preferred.
• Cleanroom experience preferred but not required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.04/hr.
