Refurbishment Lead

The Refurbishment Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating operations personnel to execute the daily build plan inclusive of meeting production, quality, safety, and housekeeping objectives. This position is also responsible for working cross-departmentally to communicate and resolve daily operations issues. They will need to reassign employees as required and give directions when the supervisor is absent from the work area and as required to maintain daily production.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Daily review of build plan to ensure availability of all required materials.
• Collect, assess for accuracy and sign off on all work orders, while paying attention to special instructions, components, and palletization documentation in accordance with Refurbishment build schedule.  
• Communicate any order issues to the Supervisor.
• Support all operators with component requests.
• Support the daily operations of the Refurbishment area inclusive of directing and reassigning assemblers. 
• Work with Inventory team to maintain inventory integrity.
• Coach refurbishment team on following procedures, encouraging teamwork, and lead by example. Always exemplify positive behavior
• Ensure operators are practicing good documentation practices (GDP)
• Ensure area is kept organized by following 5S practices.
• Ensure all employee training is current and applicable.
• Any other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in warehouse and production environment
• Excellent organization stills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a team member to accomplish daily tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the inter-related processes of production, shipping, inventory, and the end-user.
• Ability to comply with operational processes and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team and management
• Ability to trouble-shoot problems and resolve issues effectively.
• Knowledge of ISO and audit protocols

Travel:

Travel to intercompany sites as needed.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, candidate will be required to sit and walk around; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls (some repetitive motion); and talk or hear. Also, occasionally will be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
