Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the machines within the machine shop as well as in-process inspection of parts produced. The Machine Operator will play a large role in the day-to-day production and contribute ideas on improvements and processes within a team dynamic. This is a great opportunity for a motivated person who wants to be in the aviation repair field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Operate Machinery.
· Hold tight tolerances, no more than /- .005.
· Troubleshoot tooling or program issues.
· Inspect part with minimal supervision.
· Document setups, tooling, cycle times and inspections.
· Edit programs when needed.
· Continual improvement of skills.
· Keep area well organized.
· High efficiency while setting up or operating machines.
· Make sure parts are free of sharp or rough edges unless specified.
What you’ll bring:
· Setup Machines with multiple offsets or operations.
· Must be able to read prints.
· Ability to multitask.
· Ability to fully inspect part to drawing dimensions and tolerances.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
