As a Sr. Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a strategic level.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in procurement, cost savings, and process improvements across our procurement operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity.
- Oversee complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, focusing heavily on driving continuity of supply and delivery, ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage supplier communication
- Ensure compliance with strategic procurement
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor degree (Business, Supply Chain, or applicable technical degree preferred) and 3 years buyer/procurement experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale procurement operations.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of purchasing systems (SAP experience a strong plus)
