Position Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Fairfield, Iowa (Hybrid Remote Option Possible)
Reports To: Supply & Operations Director
Department: Supply & Operations
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Salary: $55,000-$65,000/year
AERON Lifestyle Technology, Inc. is expanding to meet rising global demand, and we’re seeking a seasoned professional to join our Supply & Operations Team with a specialized focus on international logistics. The Logistics Manager will bring deep expertise in cross-border transportation, international freight forwarding, customs regulations, and global trade compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing international shipments, coordinating with global carriers and customs brokers, classifying documents for customs, and ensuring seamless logistics operations across multiple countries and regions.
Essential Functions
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, including direct to consumer operation
- Identify and mitigate logistic & transportation risk and disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Analyze logistics metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, tariffs, and vendor contracts.
- Identify the best HTC for use in various regions
- Request & evaluate quotes for shipping contracts
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs, and tariff classifications.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.
Preferred Skills:
- Logistics & Customs knowledge specific to China, Thailand, Mexico, Japan, India, and USA
- Supply Chain or Logistics Certifications
- Advanced Excel Skills, including the use of Power Bi for analytics and reporting
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain operations.
