PLC Programmer

As our PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining our electrical control systems. Responsibilities

• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs and VFDs
• Install, set up, calibrate, and maintain electrical control systems and instrumentation on jobsites
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Modify and optimize existing PLC programs to improve efficiency and reliability
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on control systems to ensure optimal performance
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and industry best practices
• Document changes, updates, and issues in technical reports and system documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and upgrades
• Traveling >25%

Education & Experience

• 3 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Technician in a manufacturing or controls integration environment preferred
• Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI programming, and troubleshooting
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field preferred
