As our PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining our electrical control systems. Responsibilities
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs and VFDs
- Install, set up, calibrate, and maintain electrical control systems and instrumentation on jobsites
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Modify and optimize existing PLC programs to improve efficiency and reliability
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and industry best practices
- Document changes, updates, and issues in technical reports and system documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and upgrades
- Traveling >25%
Education & Experience
- 3 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Technician in a manufacturing or controls integration environment preferred
- Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI programming, and troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field preferred
