Electronic Engineering Intern
We are seeking a hands-on Electronic Engineering Intern to join our technical team at a manufacturer of high-power medical laser systems. This position offers practical experience in a high-tech environment where precision and electrical safety are critical.
Technical Responsibilities
The intern will work directly with engineers and technicians on the design, testing, and construction of vital laser system components. This role is strictly hands-on. Duties include:
- Assembly and Wiring: Assisting with the physical assembly and wiring of electronic circuits, PCBs, and sub-systems for new prototypes and product enhancements.
- Testing and Measurement: Performing electrical tests on components and full systems using standard instrumentation
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing failures and identifying root causes in electronic systems and circuits.
- Electrical Safety: Strictly following all internal procedures to maintain a safe lab environment, with a focus on high-voltage and high-power safety protocols
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Strong theoretical understanding of basic analog and digital electronics.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- A proven interest in technical problem-solving and device construction.
