CNC PROGRAMMER

Aerocom Industries is a precision manufacturing company specializing in complex gears, special forms, and high-tolerance components for the aerospace, defense, space, automotive, and heavy equipment industries.
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist/programmer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges and working with advanced CNC equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
CNC Programming
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for complex components using TopSolid CAM
- Improve cycle times, tool life, and manufacturing efficiency
- Support new product introduction and process development
- Maintain programming documentation and revisions
Machine Setup & Operation
- Program, set up, and operate DMG MORI CTX Beta Turn-Mill Centers, CNC mills, CNC lathes, and cylindrical grinders
- Verify setups and perform first-piece inspections
- Assist with production on machines as needed
- Work with setup personnel and machinists to ensure repeatable production
Process Development & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixturing, and programming issues
- Improve manufacturing processes and reduce setup times
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years CNC programming experience
- Experience with turn-mills, multi-axis machining centers, lathes, mills, and grinders
- Strong understanding of G-Code, M-Code, tooling, and workholding
- Ability to read blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
- TopSolid CAM experience preferred
- Other CAM experience accepted with willingness to learn TopSolid
- Aerospace, defense, gear manufacturing, or high-precision machining experience preferred
- U.S. Citizen required due to defense-related work and export control requirements
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout the workday
