Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Avionics Manager located in Decatur, TX. The Avionics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include supervising a team of technicians, conducting inspections, managing schedules, and providing technical guidance to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the avioncs department.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills for managing and leading a team
- Experience installing, troubleshooting and configuring Garmin Avionics systems
- Experience installing, troubleshooting and configuring Special Mission Equipment for Law Emforcement aircraft
- Aircraft Maintenance experience and proficiency with Aircraft Systems
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot aircraft systems and components
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in aviation maintenance and avionics
- Experience in rotorcraft industry is a plus
