About This Role
Aero is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our maintenance team as the
Maintenance Manager based at our Van Nuys (VNY) hub. This critical leadership role serves as
the primary support managing the Maintenance team personnel, and provides direct support to
the Director of Maintenance (DOM), by providing local oversight for our Part 135 operation and
fleet, which includes 4 Embraer 135s, 1 Legacy 600, and 1 Gulfstream IV-SP.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned aviation professional with experience in leading
maintenance departments including Technicians, Inspectors, inventory, and apprentices. You
will lead an integrated team of Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Controllers, Parts and
Inventory Managers, and Maintenance Planners. If you possess Part 135 expertise, a mastery
of Gulfstream airframes, and a passion for operational excellence and safety, we invite you to

Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Provide direct management and daily oversight of the
staff.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure the fleet (ERJ 135, Legacy 600, GIV-SP) is maintained to
- Succession & Support: Act as the DOM’s primary Deputy, providing onsite support and
- Process Management: Streamline maintenance planning and parts inventory processes
- Culture of Safety: Foster a culture of accountability and transparency, ensuring all team
Requirements
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required and must be free of suspensions
- Part 135 Expertise: Extensive experience in Part 135 maintenance operations is
- Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on and management experience with Gulfstream
- Management Experience: Significant experience in team leadership and AOC
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong background in FAA interactions, including audits,
- Certification: Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (IA preferred)
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams
- Availability: Ability to work varying hours and remain on-call as needed to support a
- Compliance: Must fulfill TSA criminal background checks (CHRC) and satisfy DOT drug
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
