Duties
- Assemble mechanical components, wiring, hoses, and plumbing systems on equipment units according to detailed schematics and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Perform basic electrical wiring and connections for switches, gauges, and control panels.
- Install pumps, motors, belts, hoses, and other key components.
- Conduct testing on completed units to ensure proper function, including water flow, pressure, and vacuum systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in the handling and operation of mechanical equipment and tools.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other fabrication tools to complete assemblies.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, automotive, small engine, or related work.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Possess a high level of technical skill, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and follow written instructions.
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
- Strong focus on quality and precision to ensure all systems meet company and industry standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management regarding work status, issues, and solutions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Experience with a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Displays punctuality and consistent attendance.
Job Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
- Must own a basic set of mechanic’s tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States of America.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Prior experience with manufacturing or assembly roles preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
