Job Summary
Aero Tech Manufacturing Inc (ATMI) is currently looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This person is to generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Solicit business from new and existing customers.
- Respond to customer RFQs (Requests for Quotation).
- Accurately estimate pricing for manufactured products using customer-provided data such as AutoCAD drawings, bills of material, and specifications.
- Obtain material pricing and lead times from vendors for quotation purposes.
- Create and maintain Items and Item Routings within the MRP Item Master for new and existing orders.
- Maintain purchased material items within the MRP system to improve consistency, searchability, and eliminate duplication.
- Maintain and update item routings, drawing revisions, operational requirements, and material requirements in the MRP system.
- Process shop routing change requests and maintain related documentation.
- Document change orders and additional costs associated with customer-requested modifications.
- Handle documentation related to quotations and fabrication order releases, including printing and distribution of drawings.
- Review historical job costing data to evaluate pricing on repeat orders.
- Provide customers with work-in-process updates and estimated completion dates upon request.
- Report shipment information, packing slips, and tracking numbers to customers as requested.
- Maintain filing systems and organization of project folders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently with customers as well as manufacturing, engineering, and accounting teams.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 or more years of Inside Sales experience in sheet metal fabrication preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to travel to meet with clients, potential clients and industry events will be required on occasion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States of America.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements:
- Spends time in an office setting and occasional production environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20 to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
