Duties/Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and operating system problems and repair.
- Move equipment to new locations as requested; re-route and install cables for new location; test system to assure proper operation.
- Assist users with access to wireless network, VOIP telephony, and access to other network services.
- Clean computer equipment and peripherals.
- Assists with other technology problems and equipment operations when possible.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Responsible for hardware inventory.
- Communicate with external support.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year experience in key functions listed, active participation in IT support.
- Minimum of one year experience with Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with active directory.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence consistent with the duties of this position.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries, and/or complaints.
- Ability to learn and utilize office equipment, computers, and software especially as systems are upgraded.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and driven to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
