Position Summary

Support manufacturing by inspecting products and processes to meet quality and scheduled goals of the company.

Essential Functions

  • Perform MPI inspection of hardware in accordance with internal and external requirements.
  • Participate in root cause corrective action investigations.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, engineering drawings or sketches.
  • Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances.
  • Perform necessary process audits/ checks to ensure process remains in compliance with requirements
  • Participate in the operation of and compliance with all safety, hazardous material handling and disposal requirements in accordance with government regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment in full compliance with all internal, customer and government regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience as Level II in MPI inspection
    • Willing to train to reach level lll certification
  • Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to use sketches and measuring instruments.
  • Subject to complete vision exam per requirements of National Aerospace Standards (NAS) 410.
  • Level ll or level lll FPI inspection certification a plus

Compensation

$40,000 - $100,000 / year

Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on level of experience, overtime and shift.
