What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cutting Department Associate position at Aero Design and Manufacturing Company?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our Cutting Department team. We have been building our brand name products in the Lincoln Park Craft District for nearly 40 years. This role is in a fast-paced environment supporting our production department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare orders for sewing department
- Operate Gerber cutting table, strip cutter and other cutting equipment
- Bundle cut pieces for sewing department
- Manage inventory of all materials and communicate order needs
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Enjoy working in our collaborative environment
- Effective communication and comprehension skills - verbal and written
- Accuracy and high Attention to Detail
- Desire to learn, positive attitude and energetic
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift/move up to 25 pounds
