AERMOR is seeking a Senior Forensic Technician/Analyst to provide advanced technical support across software, hardware, wireless systems, and forensic examination functions. This position is responsible for evaluating requirements, delivering forensic analyses, developing secure infrastructure plans, and ensuring adherence to all security policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert software, hardware, wireless, and mobile device support based on functional and operational requirements.
- Conduct mobile forensic examinations, ensuring proper documentation, chain-of-custody compliance, and reporting.
- Develop, test, and implement network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans.
- Perform advanced packet-level network analysis to identify anomalies, intrusions, or performance concerns.
- Demonstrate strong technical understanding of system relationships, dependencies, and hardware/software integration requirements.
- Interpret and analyze submitted documentation, including user and functional requirements, for tool development and forensic processes.
- Prepare comprehensive forensic examination reports, including analysis, findings, formatting, and review.
- Apply knowledge of risk management processes, including methods for identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
- Utilize expertise in cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies.
- Apply knowledge of cloud computing service models and deployment models, including private, public, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Operate independently with minimal oversight and provide supervision or guidance to junior analysts.
Qualifications:
- Six (6) years of professional experience providing support across software, hardware, wireless systems, and forensic examination workflows.
- Experience performing mobile forensics and producing detailed forensic reports.
- Proficiency in performing packet-level network analysis and understanding network protocols.
- Must meet IAT Level III certification requirements.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate requirements into actionable steps.
- Knowledge of cloud service and deployment models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
