All About the Job
Your mission
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory strategy for NYC, focusing on districts 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 19, and 24, while supporting marketing efforts across all 32 districts.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement field campaigns (video testimonials, email campaigns, sponsored principal dinners/PD days, NYC Tech Summit participation).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business, targeting both individual schools and district-wide contracts.
- Conduct effective discovery and diagnosis conversations to present the value of JumpRope’s hybrid gradebook and other offerings.
- Network with campus leaders, principals, and district administrators to expand JumpRope’s reach.
- Negotiate and close 5- and 6-figure contracts, including responding to RFPs and presenting to school boards.
- Present annual and quarterly territory plans, including short- and long-term sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with the NYC Customer Success Manager to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and renewal-readiness.
- Organize and participate in principal dinners, small group meetings, and peer-group presentations to drive adoption.
- Represent Aeries Software and JumpRope with enthusiasm and integrity.
About You
- Strong sales hunter mentality, with experience managing a territory or market.
- 5 years proven track record of exceeding sales quotas ($1M annually).
- Experience using solution selling, consultative, or value-based sales methodologies.
- Proven success managing complex sales cycles in EdTech or SaaS.
- Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to forecast sales on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Attend conferences and events as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- SIS, ERP, LMS, or EdTech experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) preferred, not required

Work Location
- You live in or near New York City and work remotely from a home office.
Travel Requirements
- Willing to spend 50-75% of your time traveling within NYC, with occasional trips for training, meetings, and conferences.
Physical Requirements

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Compensation
- $115,000- $135,000 base salary, based on experience & skills Variable commissions
