Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead and execute multiple customer-facing projects focused on HVAC systems, building automation, process automation, and engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex technical projects from post-sales execution through completion while ensuring customer satisfaction, budget adherence, and project profitability.
This role serves as the primary operational point of contact for customers and is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project governance, mitigating risks, and delivering successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
Lead multiple concurrent HVAC, automation, engineering, or facility-related projects from kickoff through completion.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and customer expectations are achieved on time and within budget.
Manage project scope and initiate change management processes when required.
Track and report project KPIs, financial performance, and overall project health.
Customer Relationship Management
Act as the primary operational point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
Partner with Account Managers to ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
Conduct regular project reviews, status meetings, milestone discussions, and lessons-learned sessions.
Resolve customer issues, conflicts, and escalations efficiently while maintaining strong relationships.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, automation, operations, quality, procurement, and commercial stakeholders.
Foster collaboration across matrixed organizations and drive accountability for project deliverables.
Coach and mentor team members while supporting their professional development.
Ensure effective internal governance and stakeholder alignment throughout project execution.
Financial & Business Management
Manage project budgets, profitability, forecasts, and resource utilization.
Identify business risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with Commercial Development and Account Management teams on long-term customer program strategies.
Support scope expansion opportunities and change orders.
Process Improvement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes where appropriate.
Implement best practices in project management, communication, and customer engagement.
Promote operational excellence and execution efficiency across programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
5–10 years of Project Management or Program Management experience.
Experience managing HVAC, Building Automation Systems (BAS), Controls, Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Manufacturing, or Engineering Projects.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong experience with project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and resource planning.
Experience working in customer-facing environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, Jira, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or facility infrastructure environments.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC controls, BMS/BAS systems, SCADA, PLCs, or industrial automation technologies.
Experience leading cross-functional teams within matrix organizations.
Salary : $60 - $65
