AEONrv is seeking a RV Engineer to join our manufacturing team where you will help build the AEONrv from start to finish. AEONrv is a start-up manufacturer of recreational vehicles and the maker of the world’s first true all-season RV. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team where they will utilize their deep skillset to develop, manage and improve our manufacturing processes while also developing new skills to implement efficiency, quality and safety across all manufacturing functions.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating documentation related to the production of the AEONrv, as well as supporting the production line through manufacturing engineering activities. This role will create engineering documentation: utilize 3D CAD software; write, implement and maintain production line process instructions; create training documents to support production line personnel; assist with the layout and design of the production line; and utilize company-wide tools to improve production efficiency, maintain the safety of personnel and communicate opportunities for improvements. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with production operations, quality, and inventory to complete projects and achieve company goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Develop, maintain, implement, and revise production Process Instructions.
• Create, maintain and revise engineering documents utilizing SolidWorks 3D CAD.
• Implement lean manufacturing concepts and principles across the entire production line.
• Develop innovative technologies for production line operations.
• Utilize various business software tools to automate production, material handling, and communication tasks (Slack, AOdocs, GQueues, Netsuite, Zendesk, etc.).
• Perform work with a high degree of skill and a focus on quality and details.
• Consistently work with an eye toward safety and continuous improvement for self and others.
• Keep all work areas clean and tidy throughout the workday.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Critical Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and strategies.
• Competency in modern manufacturing processes.
• Experience developing production line tooling for efficiency, quality and worker safety.
• Competency developing and implementing training tools.
• Competency utilizing engineering software (3D CAD, CAM, etc.).
• Self-motivated and reliable with good communication skills and good analytical problem-solving ability.
• Action oriented, self-starter and fast learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting in accordance with the company culture and values.
• Critical thinking skills to assist in troubleshooting when problems arise.
• Possess a strong sense of work ethic, personal responsibility and commitment to work outcomes, particularly toward quality and safety.
• Have the desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering field.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes. 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Previous automotive, manufacturing or construction skills are an asset; specialty automotive and/or RV manufacturing experience a bonus
• Must have a valid driver's license.
