Aeolus Animal Hospital and Equine Center is looking for an Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a companion animal hospital, 80% canine and feline / 20% equine, practice located in Manchester, Vermont. We will offer a competitive salary and benefits to the right person. We will train the right person for the position, but we would prefer someone comfortable with all types of animals.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and handling of animals, ensuring their comfort and safety during examinations and treatments.
- Assist veterinarians with procedures, including animal catheterization and restraint.
- Assist veterinarians with surgery and anesthesia monitoring.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and assist in dental procedures as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility, including kennels and examination rooms.
- Stay updated on veterinary terminology and animal physiology to enhance patient care.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
