Job description:
The Packer is responsible for inspecting, packing, and preparing plastic containers for shipment according to company quality and safety standards. This role supports production by ensuring products are properly handled, labeled, and stacked in an efficient and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect plastic containers for defects such as cracks, dents, discoloration, or contamination.
- Pack finished containers into bags, boxes, or crates according to customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Perform line checks and verify correct labels, counts, and packaging materials.
- Meet daily production quotas and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all food-safety standards if working in a food-grade environment.
- Assist with line changeovers, material replenishment, and basic machine support as needed.
- Report any quality or safety issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
