What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at AEMPro?
AEMPro is looking for a driver with their own vehicle to deliver small car parts out of our warehouse in Canoga Park, CA.
Requirements:
- Must own a small economical vehicle (25 mpg city/hwy combined)
- Must own valid vehicle insurance and registration
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to read and understand direction/comfortable with GPS and electronic devices
- Must be able to physically lift at least 50 lbs regularly in order to load and deliver car parts
Job Duties:
- Follow a GPS route delivering small car parts (brake pads, rotors, sensors, etc.) to local mechanic shops
- Operate vehicle according to state traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver merchandise to proper destination
- Obtain customer signature and maybe required to obtain payment for goods delivered
- Pick up and return merchandise from customers with proper documentation
- Pick up incoming merchandise from vendors
- Return to work location with returning product and paperwork
Availability:
- Monday - Saturday working 5 days a week roughly 8:30AM - 5PM with a half-hour lunch
