CNC Machinst

Job Summary
We are seeking entry level CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team for our client in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol systems, to produce parts as per engineering drawings.
• Utilize CAD software and SolidWorks for programming and designing tooling setups.
• Fabricate components using power tools and manual machining techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using bore gauges and other measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and tooling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding of machining principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for design purposes.
• Experience with fabrication techniques, including welding and tooling setup.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
