Position Overview — Quality Manager
We’re looking for a Quality Manager to support our expanding portfolio of infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring quality, durability, and compliance across field inspections, testing, and project execution.
What You’ll Do
Quality Oversight & Compliance
- Develop and implement the Quality Plan to ensure adherence to industry standards and
- Regulations.
- Manage and resolve all quality-related issues.
- Ensure that all QA/QC processes are followed, documented, and reported as needed.
- Submit daily inspection reports within <24 hours
- Maintain 90% completion of all assigned safety training
- Target zero avoidable safety or equipment incidents
- Submit 98% of draft reports within 8 hours — with minimal revisions
- Maintain 95% on-time site check-in/check-out
- Less than 1 serious issue per quarter related to Inspections, Measuring, and Test Equipment due to technician error, lack of maintenance, or lost/damaged equipment
Documentation & Quality Records
- Maintain accurate inspection records using AEIS digital reporting tools
- Review and verify technical documents (e.g., WPS/PQR, lab results, etc.)
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and QA/QC Specialists
- Contribute to lessons-learned discussions and workflow improvements
What We're Looking For
Must Haves
- Certification in Quality Management from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), ISO
- 9001 Lead Auditor, or similar certifications.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management or a related field.
- Previous experience working on MTA projects.
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to project sites
