Advanced level engineer will prepare reports and develop plans and cost estimations for various engineering design projects. Establishing sequence of events, part routings, proper operating method sheets, labor standards, layouts, tool concepts, part and equipment costs, and quality plans. Determining parts equipment and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Due to the sensitive nature of this position candidate must be a US Citizen.
Reports to:
General Manager
Responsibilities:
· Create sheet-metal modeling using Solidworks
· Organize and maintain product documentation and specification
· DFM Review for new products
· Analyzing and researching methods of increasing productivity, reducing production costs along with yield improvements
· Generating required manufacturing documents and placing into document control and quality system
· Identifying potential process, equipment and material improvements
· Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during production to ensure integrity of product
· Maintain complex ERP system managing BOMS, production routes, sub-jobs, and purchasing
Minimum Previous Experience:
5 years in sheet metal engineering field
Other Skills:
Proficient in SolidWorks
Proficient in Excel
Proficient in Paperless Parts
