Key Responsibilities:
Product Management (60%):
- Collaborates with Volunteers, Staff, and other Stakeholders to facilitate the creation and curation of high-quality education products and services.
- Conducts business and market analysis to select market-relevant continuing education product topics in collaboration with the Sr. Director, Continuing Education and Workforce Development.
- Negotiates and establishes contracts with subject matter experts, vendors, or others that will be involved in the creation of assigned products.
- Creates and maintains product development project plans for each assigned product from product conception to release.
- Manages and collaborates closely with subject matter experts, internal and external employee and volunteer stakeholders, Marketing, Instructional Design and Production, and others to ensure realistic development timelines are created and deadlines are met.
- Serves as the voice for the customer, ensuring that products are developed with the end user in mind and that consider current learning trends and customer feedback.
- Ensures that education product quality standards are met in all products released.
- Manages the setting up of products within company systems.
- Provides product training for sales, marketing, and customers as needed.
- Assists in the creation of marketing collateral to support product sales.
- Stays abreast of the continuing education market to identify market trends and development techniques.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates product introductions to the marketplace in collaboration with marketing and sales.
- Tracks product financials, determining product health and ensuring that partner payouts are made in a timely manner.
- Uses AI to streamline workflows.
- Collaborates with 3rd party partners to identify and bring to market products that complement the client’s professional education portfolio, including negotiation of terms, contracting, procurement, partner payouts, and stakeholder engagement.
- Regularly analyzes product performance and makes recommendations for improvement, growth, or sunsetting of products within the portfolio.
- Regularly provides reports on product performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization.
Credentialing Program Leadership (30%):
- Provides strategic leadership for the growth of the Credentialing Program.
- Ensures the program aligns with current credentialing standards and market trends.
- Represents the Credentialing Program at conferences, events, webinars, and member meetings with the goal of increasing thought leadership and bringing on new providers.
- Supports marketing efforts for the Credentialing Program, including maintenance of the program website.
- Participate in sales conversations with the goal of bringing on new credentialing providers.
- Grows the revenue of the program.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on workforce development, professional credentialing, and non-degree credentials.
- Collaborates with the Credentialing Committee, ensuring committee members have the resources they need to review applications and fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
- Manages staff and consultants engaged in supporting the Credentialing Program.
- Coordinates with technology vendors that provide platforms used to support the Credentialing Program, along with internal IT resources.
- Manages contracts as needed to support the Credentialing Program.
Staff and Volunteer Management (10%):
- Leads a small team of product and program managers (both staff and consultants) to achieve program and revenue goals.
- Sets goals and conducts annual performance reviews.
- Creates an inclusive environment where staff and volunteers feel supported, appreciated, and engaged.
- Leads volunteer committees and sub-committees/project teams, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Business Administration, Product Development, Education, or Marketing preferred. Will also consider candidates with relevant non-degree credentials.
- Master's or other advanced degree Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) Pref
Work Experience:
- 7-10 years Product management experience, preferably in a global educational content environment Req
- 4-7 years Project management experience required, including the creation of project plans Req
- 2-4 years’ Experience leading teams successfully Pref
- 4-7 years Increasing revenue responsibilities Pref
- 4-7 years P&L, financial analysis, and budgeting experience Req
- Market research experience Pref
- Working knowledge of global trends in education, credentialing, and engineering Pref
Licenses and Certifications:
- Product Management Certificate Pref
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in portfolio management and finance

Salary : $140,000 - $165,000
