Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for the organization’s safety function, aligning initiatives with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Lead and develop the safety team while establishing clear priorities and ensuring consistent execution of safety programs.
- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001).
- Analyze safety performance data and trends to guide decision-making, risk reduction strategies, and long-term planning.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to embed safety into operations, capital planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations through governance, audits, and effective oversight, while advising leadership on risks and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, NFPA).
- Proven leadership, team development, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with standard business software and tools used for inspections and reporting.
Salary : $130,000 - $155,000
