Pay: $27.27/hr $2/hr night shift differential
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shift (every other weekend off)
Type: Contract-to-hire (CTH)
Shifts Available:

• Days: 6:45am – 7:00pm
• Nights: 6:45pm – 7:00am

The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for manufacturing blown film products, operating multi-functional extrusion machinery, and ensuring that all production meets quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines to produce flexible film packaging.
• Perform adjustments to temperature, speed, tooling, and material feeds.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to ensure smooth production runs.
• Verify product quality — thickness, width, opacity, and visual inspection.
• Maintain detailed production reports and communicate shift updates.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep a clean and organized work area (5S standards).

Qualifications

Required:

• 1–3 years of plastic extrusion operating experience (blown film preferred; blow molding, cast film, or similar acceptable).
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to set up and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred:

• Experience adjusting programs or machine parameters.
• Hands-on, self-motivated attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
