Operations Supervisor

Location: Indianapolis / Speedway, IN

Employment: Direct hire, full time, on site

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 annually

Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule, with openings on days (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) and nights (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.)

A specialized aerospace manufacturer is hiring Operations Supervisors to support a growing production team. These newly created positions offer the opportunity to lead from the shop floor, develop employees, and improve day-to-day performance in a precision manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead approximately 13–19 production technicians, working closely with team leaders to set priorities and keep production on track.
• Coach employees, address performance issues, support training, and build an accountable team.
• Oversee staffing, work assignments, timecards, safety practices, and shift reporting.
• Monitor safety, quality, output, and delivery; respond to issues and escalate equipment or production constraints when needed.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve problems and improve processes.
• Apply Lean principles and help lead Kaizen events and other continuous improvement efforts.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including meaningful experience leading production employees.
• A hands-on leadership style and the ability to coach, organize, and hold a team accountable.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or a similar manufacturing environment. Automotive Tier 1 experience is especially relevant.
• A Lean mindset, with experience in Kaizen, root cause analysis, or other continuous improvement work.
• Strong communication and sound judgment in a fast-moving production setting.

A degree is not required. Coatings experience is helpful, but training on the specific processes will be provided.
