We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support highly automated production equipment within a fast-paced industrial environment. This individual will play a critical role in troubleshooting equipment issues, minimizing downtime, and supporting preventative maintenance initiatives across the facility.
Position Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-craft maintenance experience and the ability to support production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
This role requires a hands-on technician capable of diagnosing issues quickly, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and plant uptime.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment and automated machinery
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, VFDs, conveyors, and automated equipment
- Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical failures
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical drawings
- Support production operations by responding quickly to equipment downtime issues
- Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring failures
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives throughout the facility
- Utilize CMMS systems to document repairs, PMs, and work orders
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, safety, and company maintenance procedures
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams
Qualifications
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience supporting PLC-controlled equipment preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and automation systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Technical degree or maintenance certification preferred but not required

- Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting
