Maintenance Technician

Pay: $28.00–$34.00/hour $1.00/hour Shift Differential

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and major facility assets.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Complete scheduled building and facility maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment as needed.
• Document completed work, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities within the CMMS/work order system.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, supplies, and consumables through the CMMS.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience with:
• • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Gearboxes
  • Bearings
  • Conveyors and other industrial equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and working with:
• • Three-phase motors
  • Industrial electrical wiring
  • Motor controls
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred but extensive programming experience is not required.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and servo systems is a plus.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

• Preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety practices.
