Machine Operator
Summary:
Responsible for operating production machinery and related equipment to manufacture parts used in finished products. Ensures all components meet established quality, safety, and production standards.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate machines and equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
2. Review job documentation and confirm understanding of requirements for each assignment.
3. Maintain and properly use tools and equipment assigned to the workstation.
4. Meet required production rates and cycle times.
5. Accurately record production data, including scrap, using tracking tools or scan systems.
6. Inspect and verify part quality throughout the manufacturing process.
7. Package finished parts according to job-specific instructions.
8. Perform secondary operations as directed.
9. Report any equipment or process issues promptly to the shift lead or supervisor.
10. Inspect and clean fixtures and equipment as needed.
11. Perform part sorting and rework as directed by supervision or quality staff.
12. Complete all required quality documentation for sorting or inspection activities.
13. May occasionally assist with off-site sorting or quality support.
14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
15. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality system requirements, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
16. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned.
