Education and Experience Requirements– Minimum of a High School Diploma and 10 years of relevant industry experience.ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate one or more fabricating machines to perform operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, countersinking, punching, and other machining tasks within documented abilities.Read and execute job specifications accurately.Perform minor adjustments to machines as needed.Inspect completed work and rework piece part defects when required.Inspection and FinishingDeburr parts to meet quality and inspection requirements.Sand parts as needed to meet specified quality standards.Wash parts according to job specifications.Documentation and RecordkeepingComplete job-related recordkeeping, including:CAM file storageEmployee time cardsMachine time cardsMachine MaintenancePerform routine maintenance such as cleaning and applying grease/oil to machines.Programming and SetupProgram and set up standard operations for 2-, 3-, 4-, and multi-axis machines.Corrective ActionInitiate and participate in Corrective Action Reports (CARs), including:Identifying errors and areas for improvementParticipating in continuous improvement activitiesApproving CAR closuresFollowing defined procedures for corrective actions and nonconforming product handlingMaterial PreparationPrepare stock material for jobs in accordance with production needs.Workplace Organization (5S Activities)Maintain cleanliness and organization in immediate and support work areas (e.g., saws, non-CNC machines).Training ResponsibilitiesServe as a ‘Master’ trainer in areas identified by the Training Matrix, providing support and mentorship to other team members.
