Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sleep Lab Technician, located in Summerfield, FL. The Sleep Lab Technician will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to monitor patients during sleep studies, ensuring the accurate collection of data. Key tasks include preparing patients for polysomnography, performing diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, maintaining equipment, and adhering to quality control standards. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to analyze results and assist in patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and tools relevant to sleep study operations
- Strong quality control and analytical skills for accurately interpreting study results
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory skills and experience as a laboratory technician
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate reporting and documentation
- Effective communication skills and ability to empathize with patients
- Certification in polysomnography or relevant experience in sleep studies preferred
- RST certification required
