Lead Process Instrumentation Calibration Specialist Join a major pharmaceutical manufacturing operation where product quality and uptime depend on precise measurements. In this senior role, you’ll lead advanced calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for process instrumentation supporting both production lines and utilities. Your technical rigor, reliability, and mentorship will help elevate the entire team. A Day in the Life Start your day reviewing planned work and pre-commissioning checks, then move into hands-on calibrations and loop verifications. You’ll diagnose unusual instrument behavior, correct it at the source, and document every step to cGMP standards—while coaching junior technicians on best practices. Core Responsibilities Execute advanced calibrations and pre-commissioning checks on process instruments across production and utilities.Perform single-point and loop calibrations using tools such as multimeters, frequency calibrators, pressure/flow calibrators, digital indicators, and RTD instruments.Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and related electrical components; conduct preventive and predictive maintenance.Install, upgrade, and modify instrumentation to meet process needs.Maintain complete, accurate calibration records; follow SOPs, site safety procedures, and cGMP requirements.Partner with cross-functional teams and mentor junior technicians. Systems and Measurements You’ll Support Pressure, flow, temperature, pH, level, conductivity, weight, and related process variables.
