As a Maintenance Mechanic focused on packaging and processing, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps equipment reliable, safe, and ready for peak performance.A Night in the LifeYou arrive, review the maintenance log, and walk the line: fillers and seamers humming, conveyors moving, case packers staging, palletizers stacking. A seamer fault pops—within minutes you’ve diagnosed a misalignment, made adjustments, and returned the line to spec. Between calls, you complete scheduled lubrication, check gearboxes and bearings, and assist with an electrical control issue on a conveyor motor. You finish with utilities: boilers, chillers, and air compressors get their checks so temperatures and pressures stay stable for consistent quality.Core ResponsibilitiesService, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed equipment: fillers, seamers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and blending systemsExecute preventive maintenance, lubrication, and precision adjustments to drive uptimeDiagnose and restore mechanical assemblies: gearboxes, bearings, motors, pumps, valves, and conveyor componentsAssist with electrical diagnostics and repairs on motors, wiring, and control systemsMaintain facility utilities, including boilers, chillers, and air compressorsPartner with peers and leaders to elevate procedures and reliability practicesFollow all safety standards and strict Lockout/Tagout; keep work areas orderlyWhat You Bring2 years of maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing (required)Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilityHands-on work with boilers, chillers, conveyors, and filling/packaging equipmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematicsSelf-driven, safety-first, and highly collaborative mindsetComfort working an overnight 2-2-3 rotation (6PM–6AM)Pay, Schedule, and BenefitsPay: $33–$40 per hour $1/hour shift differentialSchedule: 2-2-3 rotating nights (6PM–6AM; every other weekend off)Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, floating holidaysExtras: $1,000 tool reimbursement after 90 daysRetirement: 401(k) available (no current match)Why JoinBe part of an innovation-driven organization adding new lines and creating real advancement paths.
