What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Planning and Probate Attorney | AEGIS Law | St. Louis position at AEGIS Law?

Our estate planning and probate practice is large, established, and growing. It was built over decades by attorneys with client relationships spanning multiple generations of the same families. Those relationships need continuity, and the attorney who joins us will step into meaningful client responsibility early and grow into a long-term role with an established client base. For someone thinking about the next fifteen or twenty years, the trajectory is unusually clear.
What we are looking for:
- Five to ten or more years in estate planning and probate. A primarily general litigation or corporate background is less likely to fit, but we will look at any candidate whose experience translates.
- Missouri licensed, Illinois preferred
- Real transfer tax planning depth
- Contested probate and trust litigation experience preferred
- Probate division experience in Missouri and Illinois, including guardianship, conservatorship, and decedents' estates, plus advising trustees and beneficiaries on trust administration
