As a part-time Physical Therapist (Home Health) with Aegis Healthcare in Tucson, you’ll deliver skilled therapy in patients’ homes, helping them improve mobility, safety, and independence while meeting home health standards.
Key responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing and updating plans of care, providing therapeutic interventions, coordinating with the care team, supervising delegated tasks as applicable, and completing timely documentation.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Current Arizona Physical Therapy license
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience (home health preferred)
- Strong written/verbal communication; excellent organization and time management
- Valid AZ driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current CPR certification and proof of negative TB test
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

You’ll move between ILF, ALF, LTC and patient homes during daytime weekday hours, adapting your approach to each environment and focusing on clear, respectful patient education. Between visits, you’ll connect briefly with the broader clinical team to align on updates and next steps, then complete notes while details are fresh. The schedule stays flexible—your patient-visit preferences help shape how your week is built—so you can maintain steady progress for patients while keeping documentation and communication organized and on time.
