Aegis Crisis Prevention™️ is a leader in trauma-informed de-escalation training.
Aegis empowers front-line professionals to recognize and prevent behavioral
escalation. Since 2014, Aegis has trained and certified millions of front-line
professionals across the United States in healthcare and human services.
The Role
Aegis Crisis Prevention™️ is seeking an experienced, engaging, and mission-driven
National Instructor to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering crisis
prevention, de-escalation, and physical intervention training programs nationwide.
Aegis National Instructors create safe and engaging learning environments for
adults while presenting their subject-matter expertise.
This is a remote position with regular nationwide travel. In between trainings,
National Instructors are expected to maintain regular communication with the
Aegis Training Director and to work from a home office. Supporting Aegis clients
with external consultation is part of the job requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license/REAL ID
- 4 years of experience in the human services or healthcare field
- Ability to travel and maintain a quota of 20 three-day Train-the-Trainer sessions annually
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to build rapport with training participants
- Ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques
- Partner with leadership to support curriculum improvements, training quality initiatives, and organizational growth
- Complete required documentation, training records, reports, and administrative responsibilities
- Adapt training delivery to meet the needs of diverse audiences and professional environments
