Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an accountable, approachable, action-oriented Account Representative for production chemical operations. The Account Representative will primarily be responsible for assisting their assigned Account Manager with sales and services activities associated with customers, including recurring orders, samples, and monthly reporting for their assigned geographical area and customer. This position will report to the Account Manager for the designated area/customer.
Description:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and on-time delivery of Aegis’ chemical product from our yard facility to the customer’s location. This position will also cover routes for treaters and delivery drivers as needed. Approximately 10-20 hours of overtime per week may be required on a consistent basis for this position. Class A or B CDL is required with Hazmat, Tankers, and Airbrakes (no restrictions that limit the use of a standard transmission)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Haul chemicals from Aegis yard facility to customer site.
- Keeping up with BHI and DOT documentation.
- Understanding container labeling and associated product hazards.
- Loads and unloads truck.
- Performs routine servicing and inspection of truck equipment and supplies.
- Driving a Company vehicle in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Handles special customer projects and work overtime as needed and.
- Covering routes for treaters and delivery drivers as needed
- All other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of the position, including understanding written and verbal instructions, policies, procedures, and job-related communications.
- Ability to work under pressure and to maintain efficiency and composure
- Ability to travel out to and navigate job sites for extended hours as business dictates with the ability to travel by means designated by Company (Air, Auto, Train, Boat, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) and PC Skills and
- Needs little direction to complete tasks; can dictate degree of direction needed to complete tasks
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience
- Previous oil and gas well treating experience
- Delivery driving experience
- At least three (3) years’ commercial driving experience
- Experience with the operation of forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, and gauges
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. at any given time
- Ability to bend over 40-50 times per day
- Physical demands of the position include sitting, standing, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.
- Ability to work in inclement weather
TRAVEL
This position requires daily local travel within assigned Company vehicles.
