Residential Claims Adjuster – Home Warranty

Aegis Administration is a growing administrative services company specializing in home warranty and service contract administration. We are committed to providing responsive, fair, and professional claims support while creating a positive experience for our customers and service partners.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Residential Claims Adjuster to join our claims team. Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus.

As a Residential Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating residential home warranty claims. This role requires strong communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work with homeowners and service professionals to move claims toward resolution efficiently and accurately.

• Review, process, and adjudicate residential home warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review contract coverage, limitations, exclusions, and claim documentation to determine eligibility.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, service providers, technicians, and other parties involved in the claims process.
• Gather and evaluate diagnostic information, repair estimates, invoices, photos, and other supporting documentation.
• Work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and other residential service claims.
• Ask appropriate questions to understand the cause of failure and determine coverage based on contract terms.
• Provide clear explanations regarding claim decisions, next steps, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with service providers to help move repairs and claims toward resolution.
• Maintain accurate and detailed notes and documentation throughout the life of each claim.
• Escalate complex or higher-level claims to claims leadership when appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with Customer Service, Claims Leadership, and other internal departments.
• Follow company procedures and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while balancing the needs of the customer with the terms of the service contract.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education is a plus.
• Previous experience in home warranty, residential claims, property claims, HVAC/plumbing trades, appliance repair, or service contract administration is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus.
• Experience reviewing or processing claims preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply contract terms to individual claim situations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and software applications.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Knowledge of home systems, appliances, repair processes, or residential service trades is a plus.
