Open Position Information: Staff Camping Staff
Job Summary
The Staff Camping Staff supports the daily operations of the staff camping lot by assisting with on-site needs including perform regular checks of showers and restrooms, troubleshooting container and utility issues, coordinating RV pump-outs and water fills site-wide, and other tasks as needed. This role is primarily afternoon and evening shifts and requires someone who is reliable, observant, adaptable, and friendly. This position is a key point of support for staff campers and the lot managers, helping ensure everything runs smoothly.
Essential Functions
• Monitor the staff camping lot to ensure safety, cleanliness, and overall functionality
• Perform hourly checks of showers and restrooms
• Troubleshoot container and utility issues
• Check staff into containers and assist with late arrivals when necessary
• Coordinate RV pump-outs and water fills site-wide
• Assist Staff Lot Managers and other on-site managers as needed
• Maintain a friendly, approachable presence and positive rapport with staff campers
• Communicate issues clearly and escalate when necessary
Required Qualifications
• Proficient in Google Drive with a strong working knowledge of Google Sheets
• Able to keep clear, organized, and detailed notes documenting daily lot activity and any incidents
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as operational needs change
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Comfortable working afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends between 4/8/26 and 4/26/26
• Experience working on-site at events, festivals, or campgrounds preferred
• Familiarity with RV systems, generators, or temporary power setups preferred
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
Pay scale: $20.00 per hour
Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
Benefits: Part-time: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
