Service Writer - Bobcat of Charlottesville

Bobcat of Charlottesville, a division of American Equipment Group (AEG), is seeking an experienced Service Writer to join our growing dealership. If you have experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, diesel truck, agricultural, fleet, or automotive service, we want to hear from you. As our Service Writer, you'll be the primary contact between customers, technicians, and the parts department, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Open and manage repair orders
• Prepare estimates and invoices
• Schedule repairs and update customers
• Coordinate with technicians and the Parts Department
• Process warranty claims and service documentation
• Answer customer calls and process payments
• Support the Service Manager with daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or Service Coordinator required
• CDK Experience preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Heavy equipment or automotive dealership experience preferred
