What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maximo Application Consultant position at AEEC LLC?
AEEC is currently seeking a Maximo Application Consultant (On-Site) to support our customer at their location in Fort Worth, Texas. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen based in the United States. You also must be eligible to acquire a Secret Clearance.
You will be responsible for managing, customizing, and optimizing the configuration of the IBM Maximo asset management system.
Task Description:
A Maximo Application Consultant will be working closely with clients to understand their unique needs, configure the system accordingly, and provide ongoing support for its efficient operation. This role demands a deep understanding of Maximo's architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills/Experience Required:
- 5 years of experience as Technical Functional resource of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software
- 5 years of experience with IBM Maximo 7.6.x application configuration and support (including Maximo Integration Framework, Front-end Application Designer, Workflow Designer, Java, and/or BIRT report writing)
- 2 years of experience working as part of an Agile development team
- 2 years of experience implementing Maximo in cloud architectures
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.0 deployment and/or support strongly preferred
- Experience with federal government contract work, preferably DOJ agencies
- Certified Maximo Deployment Professional
Physical Demands: While performing duties of the job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
