Position Summary
AED Stratecon is seeking an experienced Contracts, Supply Chain & Operations Manager to support company-wide operations and project execution. This key role will manage contract requirements, procurement activities, vendor relationships, and operational support to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-driven professional who understands how contracts translate into operational requirements. This individual will work closely with leadership, project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to manage obligations, budgets, procurement activities, and project requirements with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
· Manage contract requirements, obligations, deliverables, milestones, and periods of performance.
· Support VIE and PS programs with contract documentation, correspondence, and quick-turn contract reviews.
· Review contracts and modifications to understand scope, risks, and operational impacts.
· Partner with Operations to ensure contract requirements are understood and properly executed.
· Create and manage purchase orders within Viewpoint.
· Track purchase orders against project budgets and coordinate budget adjustments with Operations.
· Support subcontractor and vendor negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, and commercial requirements.
· Manage procurement activities and maintain accurate contract and purchasing records.
· Provide leadership with visibility into contract status, budgets, and potential risks.
· Identify process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Contracts Management, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
· 5 years of experience in contracts, procurement, supply chain, project controls, or operations support.
· Experience supporting government, defense, construction, engineering, or industrial projects preferred.
· Strong understanding of contract requirements, scope management, procurement processes, and vendor relationships.
· Ability to interpret contract language and translate requirements into operational actions.
· Experience managing purchase orders, budgets, and subcontractor/vendor relationships.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership.
· Experience with Viewpoint or similar ERP/project management systems preferred.
· Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
